New Corporate Directive: Receiving and Offering Gifts and Hospitalities, Facilitation Payments

On January 1, 2013, CDi 4.05e came into effect. This Directive outlines the rules applicable to all Sulzer companies and employees worldwide with regard to receiving and offering Gifts and Hospitalities.

CDi 4.05e - Receiving and Offering of Gifts and Hospitalities requires prior approval before:
  • giving a single gift that costs more than $80 to a government official, employee of state-owned entity or their agent, OR
  • giving a single gift that costs more than $200 to any other person, OR
  • giving any person more than one gift in a calendar year.

If you are planning to purchase a gift from the Smart Store to give to a Customer or Government Official that exceeds these limits or is the 2nd gift for this person, you must complete a Benefits Notification Form and receive approval before making this purchase. There are additional prohibitions contained in CDi 4.50e. You are responsible for becoming familiar with the Directive and ensuring your strict compliance. Attached Directive can be found here.

Outlook>Actions>Junk E-mail Options>Safe Senders.  Click Add and type in @banam-smartstore-mktg.com
2) Populate all required fields for "Create a New Account."  You must include your Cost Center -- required to activate your account, even if you plan to use Safety Bucks or Personal Checks for payment
3) You will receive a follow up email - you must forward this email to your cost center manager (supervisor) for approval.  (If you are the CC Mgr, indicate so.)
4) Your supervisor forwards approval to support@banam-smartstore-mktg.com.  Account will be changed from 'pending' to 'active' when we recieve written approval.
